Parkview International

Parkview International ( London) is wholly owned by the Hwang Family of Hong Kong. Parkview International ( London) is registered in England, but not quoted on the London Stock Exchange.

Parkview International ( London) is related to the Hong Kong Parkview Group also ultimately owned by the Hwang family, via a company called Kompass International Limited. The Hong Kong Parkview Group is registered in Bermuda.

These two links to the Asia Wind web site, illustrate the complexity of the corporate and financial arrangements associated with the Hong Kong Parkview Group.

This report of November 2000 describes the sale of a Parkview subsidiary called Lambhill to another subsidiary called Headland. This appears to be related to property holdings in London, as it is also referred to in the Hong Kong Parkview Group's annual report for the year ending 31st March 2001, on page 7.

In a similar way, this report of August 2001 refers to the sale of a subsidiary Allhead Holdings to one called Outshine Holdings. Again this transaction appears to be related to property dealings in London, as it is also referred to in the Hong Kong Parkview Group's annual report for the year ending 31st March 2002, on page 12.

Recent press reports suggest that the Hong Kong Parkview Group isn't doing too well. This report from the Internet Bankruptcy Library in January 2003, reports the group's losses increasing to HK$ 14.4 million. More recently, this report from The Standard in Hong Kong, suggests the group's financial position is deteriorating still further, with losses of HK$56.7 for the year ended March 2003.

Note that Parkview International ( London) does not own Battersea Power Station itself. Ownership of Battersea Power Station has been transferred to a company called Halcyon Estates, registered in the British Virgin Islands.
